When founder Jess envisioned expanding from Guatemalan weaving to knitwear, we crafted a strategic partnership with Peruvian artisans that honored her brand's community-focused values. The four-piece collection paired hand-knit and machine-assisted techniques in baby alpaca yarns, creating versatile price points while maintaining exceptional quality. The standout basketweave cardigan quickly became a signature piece, now reordered across multiple seasons and prominently featured in Casa de Stella's Bend, Oregon storefront—beautifully demonstrating how thoughtful knitwear design can authentically extend a sustainable brand's story.

I'm Mari, the founder of April Knit Studio.
We design high-quality knitwear collections through a refined, end-to-end process built on trust, creativity, and technical expertise.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with brands at every stage — from first-time founders launching their dream collection to established labels scaling their knitwear programs. What they have in common is a desire for clarity, craft, and a partner who understands both the creative vision and the production reality.
